As children play with the sensory bin, encourage them to explore the different materials and objects, and to talk about what they see and feel. You might ask questions like, “What do you notice about the bees?” or “How does the honeycomb feel in your hands?” You can also use the sensory bin as an opportunity to teach children about the importance of bees in pollinating plants and producing honey.
